  • How can I join the garden?
    To become a member of Sherwin Park Community Garden, please fill out a membership application available on our website or visit the garden during open hours to speak with one of our volunteers.
  • When is the garden open?
    The garden is open to visitors and members during on Saturdays from 8am to 11am and Wednesday afternoons from 3pm to 4pm Check the calendar on our website for updates to these times and additional opening hours
  • What is the cost to join the garden?
    Membership fees are $20 per year for individuals and $30 for households. Concessions $10. This contribution helps cover maintenance, supplies, and communal tools for the garden.
  • Do I have to be a member to visit the garden?
    No, membership is not required to visit the garden during open hours. However, becoming a member supports the sustainability and growth of the garden. The garden is open to anyone during our opening hours. Feel free to come in, explore, and enjoy the space!
  • Can members access the garden outside of the opening hours?
    Yes, members have key access to the garden to visit and tend to the plots or participate in special events outside of regular hours
  • What is the difference between a member and a volunteer?
    Members are individuals or families who have a contribute financially to the garden's upkeep. Volunteers, on the other hand, generously offer their time and skills to help maintain communal areas and support garden activities.
